When are private group tours offered?

Private group tours are offered during our regular season (May – October) on non-tour days and are subject to staff availability:

May & June – Monday & Tuesday

July & August – Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

September – Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

October – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Is there a maximum capacity for group tours?

No! There is no maximum number of people but note that we are limited by guide availability for larger groups.
The minimum number of people per group is 10. We do permit smaller groups but require that they pay for 10 people.

What can I expect the day of my group tour?

Groups should plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour. All tours begin at 11 am and run for about an hour. They include a guided tour of the house and garden with the property entirely to yourselves.
Please Note: Due to the size of the house, groups are limited to 15 people at a time, larger groups should allow for extra time when visiting.
After your tour, groups will be allowed to roam the property and visit the gift shop.

2024 Group Tour Pricing

$12 per person

In order to hold the date, a deposit equal to minimum group size ($120/10 people at $12 per person) is required. Final head count and payment is due a week prior to the scheduled tour date.
