Organizational Memberships
Open the doors of history for your organization with a Connecticut Landmarks membership! Membership support is the foundation of Connecticut Landmarks and the gateway to exploring Connecticut history for your organization’s students, volunteers, staff, and patrons. Experience the richness of six of our historic properties as often as you wish; enjoy discounts on program tickets; and stay connected with our preservation work, events, and historic properties through our print and online media. Your membership helps Connecticut Landmarks remain an integral part of our communities, opening our doors to thousands of students, history lovers, and families. Membership Categories
Public Library Membership $125
A library membership is valid for one year and allows library patrons to check out a pass to visit and tour seven of our historic properties on open tour days for free (Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden, Butler-McCook House & Garden, Hempsted Houses, Isham-Terry House, Nathan Hale Homestead, Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden, and the Palmer-Warner House). Connecticut Landmarks’ properties are open for tours on select days from May – October. Open hours and contact information for each property are available here. Passes can only be used on museum open tour days. Regular fees apply to special events, programs, and by-appointment tours. Museum pass holders, please arrive with your library museum pass and show staff to register for a tour.
Annual benefits include:
- Four passes that admit two adults and up to four children (ages 6–18) to tour seven of our historic properties on open tour days for free. Children under the age of 6 are always admitted for free.
- Subscription to CT Landmarks’ print and digital media (including our annual program guide) for the library
- Subscription for the library to our e-newsletter providing advance notice of programs and events
- Recognition on our website as a library member
- Ability to provide library brochures or marketing materials for display in our historic house museum visitor areas and gift shops

Historical Society Membership $150
Provides employees and volunteers free admission to seven of our historic properties (Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden, Butler-McCook House & Garden, Hempsted Houses, Isham-Terry House, Nathan Hale Homestead, Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden., and the Palmer-Warner House). Guests accompanying the employee/volunteer who do not work for the historical society are subject to regular admission fees. Membership is active for one year.
Additional benefits include:
- 20% discount on select CTL events and programming
- Invitations to exclusive members-only events
- Subscription for the historical society to CT Landmarks’ print and digital media
- Subscription for the historical society to our e-newsletter providing advance notice of programs and events (interested employees and volunteers can sign up for free e-news here)
- Recognition on our website as a historical society member
- Option to provide brochures or marketing materials for display in our historic house museum visitor areas and gift shops
University Membership $1,000
Provides students and staff of colleges and universities free admission to seven of our historic properties (Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden, Butler-McCook House & Garden, Hempsted Houses, Isham-Terry House, Nathan Hale Homestead, Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden, and the Palmer-Warner House). Proof of institutional affiliation with a valid ID required upon entry. Membership is active for one year. Additional benefits include:
- 20% discount on CTL events and programming
- Invitations to exclusive members-only events
- Subscription for the institution to CT Landmarks’ print and digital media
- Subscription for institutional contact to our e-newsletter providing advance notice of programs and events (interested staff and students can sign up for free e-news here)
- Recognition on our website as an institutional member
