What could be better than an afternoon in the garden? After a successful debut in 2021, the Phelps-Hatheway House and Garden will once again offer a concert series in its 1867 barn. New this year are esteemed artists from Connecticut and Massachusetts.
On Sunday, September 4, the Pizzazz Quartet from Trumbull, CT will delight us with a varied repertoire of classical and contemporary pieces.
Fresh off their recent residency in Rimini, Italy, the ASMI Chamber Ensemble featuring acclaimed violinist Emil Altschuler will fill the Hatheway barn on Sunday, September 25, with a program of richly textured classical and folk selections.
Our series ends on Sunday, October 2, with the International String Trio, who will lead the audience on a musical journey through classical, jazz and world music.
Tours of our historic interiors will be available for an additional charge preceding the concert at 1pm.
Generously supported by PeoplesBank.
