SUMMARY:Woman in Blue: A 19th-Century Immersive Ghost Story
DESCRIPTION:October 1875: In which a murder has been committed\, but all before the start of our story. Our show opens on the night of an engagement party of Fredrick Griswold and Clara Bennett but soon turns sour when the ghost of Fredrick’s previous (and very late) wife appears with wild accusations and a heavy curse… It is the job of the audience to help the guests uncover the truth\, and perhaps save a soul or two.  \nWOMAN IN BLUE takes place in the 19th-century as you join the fictional guests of the Griswold-Bennett engagement party. Escapism Productions returned to the Isham-Terry House\, in partnership with Connecticut Landmarks\, to create an original historical drama set in 19th century\, and greatly influenced by the popular media of the era. Come and explore the House and the story in this unique production. We are waiting for you to escape with us.  \nBuy Tickets\n\n In order to better protect the home and the artifacts that it keeps\, we ask that you leave bags and bulky clothes safely secured at your home or in your vehicle. This production will run\, rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable\, however they may be transferred to another show date and/or time\, pending availability. This show is recommended for those 13 years old and up. For disability accessibility questions\, please send an email to contact@escapismproductions.com  \nPARKING AND CHECK IN: Parking will be located in the parking lot directly next to the Isham-Terry House in the lot shared with the Hartford Public Safety Complex. A member of staff will be meeting ticket holders at the door 10 minutes before the show starts. Tickets will be available at the door\, unless the show is otherwise sold out.  \nREFUND POLICY: If you are in need of a refund\, please reach out to us using our email address: contact@escapismproductions.com  \nCOVID-19 POLICY: Masks are required within our historic interiors due to the smaller spaces and limited airflow that is common in historic buildings\, regardless of vaccination status.
