Nathan Hale Homestead

The Property
The Nathan Hale Homestead is the birthplace of Connecticut’s State Hero, Nathan Hale. The house, built in 1776, belonged to Nathan’s parents and family, and is the only site he ever called home. Its colonial period furnishings include several Hale family possessions. The property features an 18th-century English Barn with rare gunstock timber framing, a 19th-century Dairy Barn and open pastures surrounded by stone walls and forest.

Capacity
Facility rentals are available April to November.
The historic house and barn serve as a backdrop to an expansive green space that may be tented to accommodate up to 250 people.
The historic English & Dairy Barns have been newly restored & are now available to rent.
The Dairy Barn is equipped with a catering and bar station.
The English Barn seats 50 people.

Ceremony Only: $925
Celebrations & Corporate Events
Full day rental, up to 10 hours: $3,500
Half day rental, up to 4 hours: $925
For groups under 50, per hour: $350
Non-profit meeting rate (for groups under 50): $150 per hour
Photo Sessions
(Non-Commercial)
Outdoor Locations Only: $125 for 1 hour
Indoor & Outdoor Locations: $225 for 2 hours
