DESCRIPTION:Hartford Whalers! Hartford Dark Blues! Willie Pep! Pro Football in Hartford? Where was the Velodrome? Take to the streets of Hartford to uncover the fascinating history of sports in the city from ballooning to bicycles\, boxing to baseball\, and so much more\, beginning in the Butler-McCook Garden on this new walk for the 2024 season. \nRegister Now\n\nAdvance registration is required. This program is part of our Historic Hartford Walking Tours series\, where we forge new paths through Hartford’s history! Register for additional walks here.  \nPlease wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather\, as this program will take place outdoors. In case of severe weather\, the program will proceed at 10:00 am on Sunday\, October 6.
