DESCRIPTION:Join Professor Natalie Shibley for a lecture as she offers an overview of military policy towards LGBTQ service members in the Cold War era and traces the history of challenges to the ban on LGBTQ personnel. Our show opens on the night of an engagement party of Fredrick Griswold and Clara Bennett but soon turns sour when the ghost of Fredrick’s previous (and very late) wife appears with wild accusations and a heavy curse… It is the job of the audience to help the guests uncover the truth\, and perhaps save a soul or two.  \nWOMAN IN BLUE takes place in the 19th-century as you join the fictional guests of the Griswold-Bennett engagement party. Escapism Productions returned to the Isham-Terry House\, in partnership with Connecticut Landmarks\, to create an original historical drama set in 19th century\, and greatly influenced by the popular media of the era. Come and explore the House and the story in this unique production. DESCRIPTION:Get into the “spirit” of the season with Things that Go Bump in the Night at the Nathan Hale Homestead! Shiver and shudder through a special candlelight tour that will take you around the property and into the house – all the way up to the dark and eerie attic. The moonlit tour will feature the Hale Staff’s spooky encounters\, as featured on the Syfy channel’s Ghost Hunters. Prepare to be scared while surrounded by the very history that spawned the stories. \nBuy Tickets \n\nThe program will be presented on Thursday & Friday\, October 13\, 14\, 20\, 21\, 27 & 28\, from 7 – 9 pm. This tour will include creaks and cold spots and is not recommended for young souls. \nAll tours begin at 7 pm; please arrive by 6:45 pm to check in. Appropriate footwear and reliable flashlights strongly recommended. Admission is $25\, $20 for CTL Members.
