Tour Frederick Law Olmsted’s Hartford to commemorate the 200th anniversary of this important native son’s birth. Sites include the Butler-McCook House & Garden, Olmsted’s birth site, Bushnell Park, the Capitol Grounds, High Street, Keney Clock Tower and Olmsted’s gravesite in Old North Cemetery.

This program is part of the Historic Hartford Walking Tours series. Explore the architectural and artistic treasures of Connecticut’s capital city with the staff of the Butler-McCook House and Garden. 


All registered guests will receive an email with the details of the route the week of the tour. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. In case of severe weather, the tour will take place Sunday, May 1st.

Advance registration is required and will be available until 12 noon on Friday, April 22nd.
