Through our programs, Connecticut Landmarks opens the door to the past. Walking tours and lectures introduce you to the characters who lived in our houses and cities, while demonstrations and workshops let you experience history yourself. Arts programs invite you to see our sites in new ways by introducing the perspectives of the visual and performing artists who add richness to life.

Each spring, Connecticut Landmarks produces a print program guide to provide an overview of our programs and events for the upcoming season. Our sites are open from May–October, and virtual and in-person programs take place year round.

Explore any of our museum properties by taking a guided tour with one of our museum interpreters. Our tours explore the lives of the people who lived at our sites, and connect visitors to the issues of the past and how they connect to the concerns of today. Learn more and book a tour today.

Connecticut Landmarks is proud of the beautiful outdoor spaces we steward, too. Visit the gardens and grounds of our sites to enjoy nature and learn about the ways our residents have used the outdoors.

Home-grown heroes and local produce, too! The Coventry Farmers’ Market on the Nathan Hale Homestead grounds is an experience not to be missed, every Sunday from June–October. Each week, the staff of the Homestead hosts family-friendly programs including 18th–century games, hearth cooking, cheese-making, woodworking, and so much more.

Our Juneteenth Festival is a three-day long celebration of the commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States after the Civil War. Join us each day as we engage in activities encouraging conversations about emancipation, cultural awareness, and civic responsibility. Brought to life in partnership with the New London NAACP, OIC New London, and the New London County Historical Society.
